Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Acting President and the Speaker of the Lower House of the People of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe) has condemned yesterday’s terrorist explosion attack in Mogadishu’s Jalle Siyaad military training camp.
The Speaker who gave a press statement applauded the soldiers and the security forces for their bravery in liberating areas controlled by Al-Shabaab terrorists and securing the safety of the capital.
The Acting President also said that there are SNA soldiers who are loyal to their people and nation, and will sacrifice their lives and others who are hiding among the Somali National Army as traitors.
The Chairman of the Parliament instructed the security agencies to start an immediate investigation into the incident that occurred in the Jalle Siyaad Military training camp and ordered the immediate capture of the culprits who were involved in the matter and be brought to justice.
“I am waiting for a satisfactory answer regarding this issue and what it is”, Speaker Madobe said.
Speaker Madobe said that it is hard to believe that a place that is as secure as the Jalle Siyaad training camp has been infiltrated and that is why there is a need for a deep investigation regarding the explosion attack that killed and injured SNA soldiers.
The International Partners have condemned the terrorist attack and sent condolences to the people and government of Somalia.
