Rome, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended a cooperation meeting of Italy with the Horn of Africa hosted by Italian Prime Minister, Madam Giorgia Meloni.
The meeting which was attended by Somalia, Italy, Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Kenya discussed security, economy, trade, and investment, with Somalia focusing on regional and international cooperation on the liberation of the regions held by the terrorist group of Al-Shabaab.
Measures to secure the country’s security can lead to economic growth and international investment, and that is why the government is giving priority to the stability of the country.
