Mogadishu(SONNA): Somali Prime Minister H.E Mohamed Hussein Roble chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting, reporting on the reached agreement with the National Consultative Council to finalize the electoral process, SONNA reported.
PM Roble said the government and all parties were committed to concluding the election on time.
In addition, He instructed the security agencies to focus on maintaining the overall security in the country, urging all security forces to avoid meddling in politics and to concentrate their efforts in combating terrorism.
currently, the government is pursuing a foreign policy based on the interests of the Somali people, pointing out that is not possible for Somalia to feud with countries that share mutual interests with the country.
At last, PM Roble urged the cabinet members and other senior government officials not to abuse their authority and to preserve national assets during the transition period.
