Mogadishu (SONNA) Somalia’s Prime Minister H.E Mohamed Hussein Roble congratulated SONNA on its 58 years anniversary, SONNA reported.
Prime Minister Roble said that the Somali National News Agency is doing a tremendous job for the people and the government of Somalia, hoping for the agency’s staff and administration to boost their work efforts and continue serving the nation by providing accurate-reliable news.
“The agency is the official source of news in the country and I hope that you will continue to redouble your efforts and work for the nation,” said Prime Minister Roble.
The Somali National News Agency (SONNA) is state-run news agency and one of the main sources of news since establishment in 1964,
SONNA publishes news in three main languages Somali, Arabic and English and its is under the supervision of the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism.
