Mogadishu(SONNA)-At least 8 people including traffic policeman were on Saturday killed and about 10 others injured after suicide bomber blew himself up at a checkpoint at Ceel-gabta intersection in Waberi district in Mogadishu, SONNA reported.
Abdifitah Aden Hassan, Spokesperson of the Somali Police Force told reporters that Al-Shabaab militants targeted civilians, noting that a mother with two children going to medical centre nearby, were among those killed in the attack.
Prime Minister of Somalia, Mohamed Husein Roble condemned the attack.
