Mogadishu, (SONNA) – A war between the Khawarij group of Al-Shabaab took place in an area under Harardhere district in Mudug region, seven of them got killed.
Militants belonging to Al-Shabaab who escaped from Dabagalo area and wanted to surrender to the government forces fought with other militants in the vicinity of Amara town in Mudug region.
The fight that lasted for about one hour was said to have killed up to 7 terrorists.
An eyewitness told SONNA that he saw some of them being tied up in a car.
The war between the Khawarij is a big indicator to the existence of the terrorist group after being defeated in several wars before and some of them are willing to surrender to the government.
