New Delhi, SONNA – The 19th CII Indian African Conclave, hosted by the Government of India, commenced in New Delhi with a delegation from the Federal Government of Somalia. Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Abdisalam Sharif Hussein, attended alongside the Secretary of the Somali Embassy and Deputy Ambassador Abdifatah Abdullahi Noor.
The conference featured speeches from various African Vice Presidents, who discussed the growth of trade and economic development across the continent. Indian Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar highlighted the strong relationship between India and Africa, emphasizing ongoing investments and opportunities for increased trade and production. India and Africa continue to collaborate closely in economy, trade, and investment.
