Washington (SONNA): In an official press statement by the United States, Secretary of State Mr. Antony J. Blinkin, appointed Ambassador David Satterfield as New Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa, succeeding Ambassador Jeffery Feltman, SONNA reported.
In the official Press Statement, Secretary Blinkin deeply appreciated Ambassador Satterfield’s willingness to take on this role and look forward to working with him closely in this new capacity.
“Ambassador Feltman will continue to serve the U.S State Department in an advisory capacity, working closely with me and Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Molly Phee.
