Mogadishu (SONNA)-South- West State President met with security officials to discuss the security situation and re-opening of roads closed by Al-shabab militant in Bakool region, SONNA reported.
The President raised issues concerning on security situation in Bokool region urging the security officials to eradicate the militants from their hiding places and bring peace and sustainability in Bokool region.
The commander of the 60th division of the Somali National Army who spoke at the meeting said that the security forces with the support of the people in Bakol region will start a war against the Al-Shabaab terrorist group.
The President is making efforts to liberate the areas under the control of Al-Shabaab militants from the region.
