Mogadishu, SONNA – The State Minister and Acting Foreign Minister of Somalia, Ali Omar, participated in a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the security situation and the anti-terror operations in the country. The meeting also had delegates from the African Union Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) and the African Union (AU).
The meeting aimed to review the progress made in fighting against the terrorist group Al-Shabaab. The meeting also discussed the challenges and opportunities for enhancing the security and stability of Somalia, as well as the role of the regional and international partners in supporting the Somali government.
