The Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) has issued a statement reassuring the public and the airlines that use Somalia’s airspace that it is in full control of the safety and security of the flights.
The SCAA said that there is no security or safety risk in Somalia’s airspace, and that it is following the international standards and regulations for aviation. The SCAA also said that it is working closely with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and other regional and international partners to ensure the smooth operation of the airspace.
