SEOUL, (SONNA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, today participated in the opening session of the Korea–Africa Ministerial Meeting in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
The meeting brings together foreign ministers and senior officials from African countries and the Republic of Korea to discuss ways of strengthening cooperation, promoting sustainable growth, and advancing shared interests in trade, investment, technology, and international partnerships.
Somalia’s participation reflects the Federal Government’s commitment to expanding its diplomatic and economic relations with friendly nations, with a focus on fostering productive partnerships, attracting investment, promoting innovation, and enhancing institutional capacity.
The Korea–Africa Ministerial Meeting serves as an important platform for dialogue and cooperation between African countries and the Republic of Korea, addressing common challenges while advancing sustainable development and shared prosperity.
