Mogadishu, (SONNA) – With a majority vote, the Parliament has approved the 4 chapters for reviewing, amending and finalising the Constitution.
This significant milestone clears the path for fulfilling the Government’s commitment to establishing vital foundations for a stable political system in Somalia.
In under two years, Somalia’s accomplishments – including debt forgiveness, lifting of the arms embargo, fighting terrorism, entry into the East African market, and enhanced global ties – demonstrate the country’s strides towards development, peace, and prosperity.
