Sharma El Sheikh, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre met with the President of the African Development Bank (AFDB) Group, Akinwumi Adesina, on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the African Development Bank 2023 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
The two sides discussed strengthening the bank’s projects in the country, and the contribution of the Somali government’s economic development programme.
The President of the African Development Bank Group, Akinwumi Adesina, praised the progress made by the Somali government in the external debt relief programme.
