Garowe, Somalia – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has arrived in Garowe, the capital of the Puntland regional government, on Thursday.
The president was welcomed by the re-elected President of Puntland, Mr. Saeed Abdullahi Dani, and other officials and dignitaries of Putland state.
The president is attending the inauguration ceremony of Mr. Dani, who won a second term in office in January, after defeating his main rival, Mr. Asad Osman Abdullahi, in a parliamentary vote.
