MOGADISHU, Somalia – In a compassionate response to the recent SYL Hotel terror attack, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Speaker Sheikh Adan Mohamed (Madobobe) visited the victims currently receiving care at Erdogan Hospital in Mogadishu.

The President, deeply moved by the resilience of the injured, offered his prayers for their swift recovery. His visit to the hospital was followed by a briefing at the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) headquarters, where he was updated on the preliminary findings regarding the tragic incident.

Speaker Madobobe, echoing the President’s sentiments, also spent time with each of the wounded, extending his heartfelt prayers and support.

The nation stands in solidarity with the victims and their families during this challenging time, united in the face of adversity and violence. The leaders’ visits underscore the government’s commitment to the welfare of its citizens and the ongoing fight against terrorism.
