Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The 1st Deputy Speaker of the Upper House of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Mr. Ali Shacban Ibrahim, together with the 1st Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mrs. Sacdiya Yassin Haji Samatar, today held a meeting with the Parliament’s Constitution Committee at the Upper House.
The chairpersons of the two Houses of the 11th Parliament discussed with the members of the Constitution Committee the preparation for the debate on the first four chapters of the Constitution, the days of the debate, and the scheduling of the first four chapters.
The meeting was attended by the second deputy chairman of the upper house, Mr. Abdullahi Ali Hersi Timacade, and the secretary general of the upper house of the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
