Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army and the local forces conducted a planned operation in Harardhere district last night killing senior Al-Shabaab ringleaders and seized weapons and other equipment.
The operation was conducted in Dumaye area in Harardhere district after the army received an intelligence that the militants were on the move.
The Somali army ducked in the bushes around the road the militants were passing and targeted Maxad Isaq Aw-raage (Maracade) for the crimes he committed and others he was about to commit together with a foreigner and five of their guards.
The mission of the army concluded in a success and they returned to their frontline bases.
