Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army today conducted a planned operations in areas of Bakool region.
The commander of the 9th battalion, Major Yonis Adan Hassan told the national media that the operations were carried out in the areas of War-wiin, War-dhato, Eelahaley and Moorigaabey in the Bakool Region.
The army chased away the terrorists who were hiding there, praising the people for supporting the army and sending messages against terrorism.
The second phase of the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorists will soon begin in the Southwest areas as the president of the Federal Republic announced.
