Mogadishu(SONNA)-Somali National Army backed by Galmudug State forces captured the strategic, coastal town in Mudug region in central Somalia, forcing Al-Shabaab militants to flee from it.
Defense Minister, Abdukadir Mohamed Nur Confirmed to the Somali National Agency SONNA that the forces were in full control of Harardhere and started clearance operation.
“I can confirm to you that I am at Harardhere town in Mudug region under Galmudug State in Somalia, the forces liberated Gal’ad town in Galgudud region in the morning, Our forces are in full control of these cities”, The Defense Minister said.
He urged Galmudug State forces and locals to ensure the control of those towns,adding the forces will liberate remaining areas still Al-Shabaab militants.
