Somali-Malaysia talks to enhance cooperation in the fields of transport
Langkawi, (SONNA) - The Minister of Transport and Aviation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Fardowsa Osman Igal met with the Malaysian Prime Minister, Mr. Anwar Ibrahim, on the sidelines of the conferece of the 16th session of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition Lima 2023, which kicked off on Tuesday in Langkawi Island, Malaysia.
The meeting will take 5 days, with the participation of more than 600 defense and security companies from 60 countries around the world.
The two sides discussed strengthening relations in the transport and civil aviation sectors, and joint cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
It is worth noting that the Federal Republic of Somalia is participating in the Langkawi International Aeronautics and Space Exhibition (LIMA) for the first time.
