Somali Gov’t condemns the terrorist bomb attack against civilian bus

Mogadishu(SONNA)-The Federal Government of Somalia has on Sunday condemned the strongest terms possible to the terrorist attack that left over 10 passengers dead and others injured on minibus near Afgoye district, SONNA reported.

There were 22 passengers on this van that left from the capital Mogadishu, heading to Walaweyn district in lower Shabelle region, but it overrun a landmine and then exploded, bringing the casualties according to the police and eyewitness.

The police added that 12 people died on the spot, 7 others injured while only three, two men and a woman survived from this heinous attack that Al-Shabaab militants carried out.

The Somali Government with the support from its people expects to defeat terrorist groups killing our people and destroying our country.
