Addis Ababa, (SONNA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E Absher Omar Jama, met with the Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Demeke Mekonnen, in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, on the sidelines of the 42nd session of the Executive Council of the African Union.
The two sides discussed strengthening and deepening bilateral relations between the two countries and joint cooperation in the areas of security, development and economy.
The foreign Minister praised the Ethiopian role in the recent summit of neighboring countries and Somalia held in Mogadishu, pointing to the need for the two countries to cooperate in combating terrorism.
