Mogadishu, SONNA — Somalia’s Minister of Defense, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, held a productive meeting with China’s Ambassador to Somalia, Wang Yu, in Mogadishu to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and China’s support for Somalia’s government reconstruction efforts, particularly in enhancing the country’s defense capabilities.
Ambassador Wang Yu commended Somalia’s government and its people for their progress in liberation, rebuilding, and restoring trust in the country.
Minister Abdulkadir expressed gratitude for China’s continued support in aiding Somalia’s defense and reconstruction efforts.
