Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Council of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia held an emergency meeting today, during which it approved the Ministry of Internal Security’s proposal to appoint Mahad Mohamed Salad as the new Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA).
Mahad Mohamed Salad brings extensive experience and expertise in intelligence and national security, having previously served in several senior roles including Minister, Member of Parliament, and former Director of NISA.
The Cabinet expressed its gratitude to the outgoing Director, Abdullahi Mohamed Ali, for his service and the contributions he made to the country during his tenure.
