Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) Mahamud Moallim led a meeting to expedite agency work and ensure the smooth operation of departments. The meeting discussed agency alerts and warnings, as well as the development and disappearance of Tropical Cyclone laly in May 2024.
The Agency’s policy on preventing the diversion of humanitarian aid was approved at the SoDMA meeting. The Deputy Commissioner, directors, and consultants attended the meeting.
