Mogadishu , (SONNA) – The Somali National Army (SNA) and local forces conducted a military operation against extremist militants in the areas of Bacadka Faarax Aadan and Caliyaale, under the Harardheere district in Mudug region.
The operation was launched after intelligence reports revealed that the militants were planning terrorist attacks. Acting swiftly, the joint forces successfully thwarted the threat, inflicting heavy casualties on the enemy.
The operation, which lasted several hours, resulted in significant losses for the militants, including the destruction of their gathering points. Security forces remain on high alert to prevent further threats in the region.
