Mogadishu, (SONNA) – Abdi Hassan Hulbaale, a senior Al-Shabaab commander surrendered to the Somali National Army at the village of “Maya Farah” in the Lower Shabelle region.
Abdi Hassan (40 years old) was a member of the Al-Shabaab terrorist for 9 years.
Many prominent leaders among the rebels had recently begun to surrender to the national army, which vowed to eradicate the remnants of terrorists in the few areas in the south and center of the country.
