Mogadishu(SONNA)-Somali Security forces on Tuesday arrested senior Al-Shabaab commander after conducting an operation in Galgudud region under Galmudug State in Somalia according to the officials.
The officials identified the commander as Idiris Mohamed Sheikh who was in charge of collecting levy(Sakawat) from locals by force and he operated in several regions in the south-central Somalia including middle Shabelle, Bay and Bakool regions.
