Mogadishu, SONNA – Security forces have successfully neutralized the Al-Shabaab militants responsible for the terrorist attack on the Pearl Beach Hotel in Lido Beach, Mogadishu.
During the operation, a large number of civilians were rescued from the hotel. The security forces were able to end the incident and restore order to the area.
Further details on the damage caused by the attack will be reported as they become available. The government has praised the swift and effective response of the security forces in dealing with this threat.
