Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia and Chairman of the National Committee for Supporting the War Against Al-Shabaab, H.E. Abdusalam Abdullahi Ali, today chaired a high-level meeting of the Subcommittee coordinating the national offensive against Al-Shabaab and ISIS terror groups.
The meeting focused on accelerating support operations for the brave Somali forces on the frontlines, reinforcing the ongoing military campaign against extremist militants, and ensuring sustained backing for the nation’s armed forces.
Discussions also addressed strategies to enhance coordination among security agencies and all levels of government, with the goal of achieving major breakthroughs in the fight to eliminate terrorism from Somalia.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to defeating extremist threats and strengthening national security across the country.
