Bosaso(SONNA)-Puntland State Security forces arrested three suspects of the terrorist militant group of IS after carrying out operation in Bosaso town in Barri region on Sunday night, aiming to improve the security in the region according to the authorities.
“PSF has conducted operations to improve security in Bosaso, Somalia The objective was to identify and apprehend Daesh suspects who had been threatening local businesses. During the operation, the PSF successfully arrested three individuals believed to be involved in these threats”, PSF said on X Post.
The operation comes days after the Somali National Army and International Partners killed over 20 Al-Shabaab militants at Cal Madow area in Sanaag region.
