Mogadishu(SONNA)-Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E.Hassan Ali Kheyre on Tuesday cut the ribbon of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs after reconstruction, SONNA reported.
“It has a special feeling for me to be here at this rebuilt Ministry, we did joint efforts to coming to this stage”, Minister of Labour, Sadiq Warfa said at the opening ceremony.
Mr. Warfa thanked Italian and Swedish Governments’ support in the reconstruction of Ministry while applauding the staff for their resilient and contribution during the building.
Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Kheyre said Al-Shabaab militants’ work is to kill people and destroy buildings like this Ministry about a year ago, telling that the militants’ aim to disappoint, but never happens that.
“We send a big message to those intend to disappoint Somali people, let them see how we rebuilt the Ministry better than it was before, our people will never give up and get disappointed, but win and defeat Al-Shabaab”, Mr. Kheyr said.
