London, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, HE Hassan Sheikh Mohamud sent his condolences to the family, the Somali people, and the Waberi group of singers on the passing of the famous singer Ahmed Naaji Sa’ad.
The President pointed out that the deceased played a major role in the promotion of Somali art, literature and culture, and he was one of the pillars of the Somali singers.
“To Allah, we belong, and to Him is our return, I send my deepest condolences to the family, relatives, and the entire Somali nation on the passing of the late Ahmed Naji Sa’ad who had a name and fame in the art community, and the Somali people in general”, President Mohamud said.
President Hassan Sheikh prayed for the deceased and asked Allah to let him rest in peace.
