Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud hosted the second round of the ongoing National Consultation Forum at the Villa Somalia, bringing together former national leaders, including Presidents, Prime Ministers, a former Parliamentary Speaker, and other senior officials.
The meeting focused on key national priorities previously agreed upon, including the completion of the review of the constitution process, the implementation of a direct electoral system, and strengthening collective efforts to eliminate terrorism in Somalia.
President Hassan emphasized the importance of inclusive dialogue and collaboration among past and present leaders to achieve lasting stability and democratic progress in the country.
