Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud issued a decree that Gubadley, Darussalam and Garasbaaley to be recognised as full districts of the Banadir region.
A high-level event was held in the Banadir Municipality and was attended by Ministers, MPs and other government officials to welcome the new districts.
The spokesperson of the Banadir regional administration, Salah Hassan Omar, who was at the local government headquarters in Banadir, read to the media the decree of the President on the 3 new districts, which have fulfilled the requirements of the district.
