Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has appointed Mr. Wali Guled Nur as the new Director General of the National Printing Agency, following a recommendation from the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism.
The National Printing Agency, which operates under the Ministry of Information, is expected to play a significant role in the production of official government documents and other essential printing services as it undergoes a major revival.
Originally established in 1971, the agency once served as a key institution in meeting the government’s printing needs. However, it ceased operations following the collapse of state institutions during the civil war. Its reactivation marks a step toward rebuilding Somalia’s public infrastructure and institutional capacity.
