Mogadishu(SONNA)-President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Abdulahi Farmajo on Saturday officially opened and delivered his constitutional speech at 7th session of both houses of Parliament in Mogadishu, SONNA reported.
The President said his Government made tangible progress on the security, economy, education, and social development during his term in office, telling that elections would be held on time.
Mr. Farmajo commended Parliamentarians of the House of the people and Upper House for enabling the government to achieve its goals to serve the nation and to be politically stable.
This parliamentary session is the final one, and it is to end in September this year then election process would start according to officials.
