Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Interior, Federal and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Ahmed Moalim Fiqi has on Sunday witnessed the hand over the chairperson position of the National Refugee Agency to Mrs. Safiyo Hassan Mohamed from the former chairperson of the agency.
Minister Fiqi, urged the new chairperson Mrs. Safiyo to speed up the work of this institution which is important to the nation, while he also praised the former chairperson Mrs. Amina for the work they have done.
On June 8, 2023, the Council of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia approved the new leadership of the National Agency for Refugees and Displaced Persons after it was submitted by the Ministry of Interior, Federal and Reconciliation.
