Mogadishu(SONNA)-National Independent Elections Commission is in Beledweyne town in Hiiraan region for a visit aimed at meeting regional officials and observing areas assigned for the election of the House of People, SONNA reported.
Governor of Hiiraan, Ali Osman Jeyte welcomed the delegation headed by the deputy chairperson of the electoral team, Mowlid Matan at Ugaas Khalif Aiport, then led to the town.
Mr. Jeyte said that Beledweyne is completely prepared to host holding the election.
