Mogadishu(SONNA)-Somali National Army killed 6 terrorist militant members of Al-Shabaab and thwarted suicide car bomb attack at an army base in Guriel town overnight, SONNA reported Sunday.
Army chief, Gen. Odowa Yusuf Rage told SNA radio Mogadishu that militants’ commander in charge of Guriel and El-bur was among those killed in the operation.
SNA’s Gor-gor unit displayed the dead bodies of the militants, weapons and a car and anti tank which did not explode during the operation.
