Mayor of Mogadishu calls to stand up for helping rain affected people

Mogadishu(SONNA)- the Mayor of Mogadishu and Banadir Governor H.E. Omar Mohamud Mohamed (Filish) had visited areas affected by the rains in the capital and has instructed the Municipality and emergency departments to stand up for helping rain affected people in the Capital,SONNA reported.

The governor and other members of banadir regional administration  toured the districts of Bondhere, Shangani, Hamarweyne, Wadajir, HamarJajab and the intersection of KM 4, as he participated specifically in rescuing a collapsed family.

The Governor Omar Filish, who monitored the living conditions of the communities under his supervision, echoed the State Government’s commitment to work to alleviate the plight of the poor.

On the other hand, the Governor ordered that the city’s sanitation work to be accelerated, and that the Municipal Staff to work quickly to open the main corridors of public transport.
