In a concerted effort to enhance national security, the Federal Minister of Internal Security of Somalia, Mr. Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail – Fartaag, chaired a crucial meeting with the security ministers from the federal member states in Mogadishu.
The conference was a strategic platform to align efforts in safeguarding Somalia’s sovereignty. The ministers deliberated on strategies to intensify the battle against the Khawarij insurgents, reinforce the police force, and foster stronger collaboration in crime prevention and investigation.
Minister Abdullahi Fartaag highlighted the significance of integrating the operations of the security branches and the coordination among the police forces of the federal member states. He praised the security ministers’ commitment to the enhancement plans for the Somali Police Force.
The meeting brought together the security ministers from the federal member states of Jubbaland, Hirshabeelle, Galmudug, and South West, showcasing a unified stance against threats to Somalia’s peace and order.
