Mogadishu (SONNA)-The Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development of The Federal Republic of Somalia H.E Jamal Mohamed Hassan accompanied by the Minister of Justice met with senior officials from the Turkish Project Development Agency (TIKA-Somalia) and other Turkish officials at the Ministry’s headquarters, SONNA reported.
The purpose of the meeting was aimed on strengthening cooperation between the developments of the two countries.
Minister Jamaal outlined the best places were tourist can invest in the country, which are important for foreign investment such as agriculture, energy, livestock, and Fishing.
Officials from the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA-Somalia) and other members welcomed the efforts made by the Somali Government and were committed to invest in key areas highlighted by the Minister.
It was also underlined that the acceleration of the laws that are important for foreign investment will create a great opportunity for the country, most of which are in the final stages.
Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development of the FGS, Mr. Jamal Mohamed Hassan noted that the Government is ready to encourage, facilitate, support, foreign investment, and enhance the image of the country.
