The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh attended the National Commission for Refugees and IDPs’ 5-Year Strategic Plan consultation event, which discussed protection, support and sustainable solutions for IDPs in Somalia.
“We know that displacement is not only a humanitarian and developmental issue but also a security one. Disadvantaged communities are often a target for recruitment by violent extremist groups,” the Minister said.
