Mogadishu(SONNA)-Governor Marko town, the capital of Lower Shabelle region, Osman Muse Mohamed on Sunday visited Jilib Marko location after Somali National Army liberated it a week earlier.
SNA forces killed several Al-Shabaab militants and liberated Jilib Marko and Gendershe locations in the region during the operation at the time.
Jilib Marko used to be a strong-hold of the terrorist militant group of Al-Shabaab and they used to organize criminal activities against civilians in the region and beyond according to security sources.
