Kismayo (SONNA) – The president of the Jubaland State H.E Ahmed Mohamed Islaam, received Turkish delegates led by Deputy Ambassador of Turkey to Somalia H.E Ismail Emre Kosif, and other members of the Turkish Ministry of Security and Internal Affairs.
The discussion of the meeting focused on Humanitarian Issues in the Jubaland region and the role of Turkey to deliver aid to people in need because the Turkish Red Cross already started to deliver assistance in some areas.
The President thanked the Turkish government for answering their call on the International community in delivering humanitarian aid.
