Mogadishu, (SONNA) – IGAD Executive Secretary, H.E. Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu, extended his warm congratulations to H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali on his appointment as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Somalia.
He further welcomes H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali to the IGAD Council of Ministers and looks forward to working closely with him to advance regional cooperation and stability.
H.E. Dr. Workneh also congratulates the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Amb. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi Ahmed, for his dedicated service and for strengthening Somaliaβs engagement with IGAD, and wishes him the very best in his new role as the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Somalia
