In a recent night-time visit, the Governor of Banadir Region, Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale), accompanied by security officers and other administrative members, conducted an extensive inspection of the bustling Hamarweyne District Market in Mogadishu.

The delegation engaged with local residents and business owners, gathering feedback on the recent improvements in security measures and the consequent growth in business activities within the market area. This initiative is part of a broader effort to foster a secure and prosperous environment for commerce in the capital.

Continuing his commitment to community engagement, Governor Madaale also visited Lido Beach in the Abdicasis District. There, he met with members of the public, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with the Security Department to maintain and build upon the progress achieved in stabilizing Mogadishu.

These visits underscore the regional government’s dedication to ensuring the safety and economic well-being of its citizens, as well as its resolve to revitalize the capital’s public spaces.
