Mogadishu(SONNA)-Deputy President of Galmudug State, Ali Dahir Eid on Tuesday met SNA and AMISOM officials in Dhusamareb, the administrative capital of Galmudug State and addressed on speeding up the security operations against Al-Shabaab in the region, SONNA reported.
“Somali National Army and Galmudug State forces will conduct military operation, aimed at clearing Al-Shabaab out of Galmudug State”, Mr. Eid said in a statement.
The President also thanked Puntland State, President Sa’id Abdullahi Deni for providing support to Galmudug State at a very critical moment, adding that Galmudug and Puntland States would work closely in the fight against terrorist militant group, Al-Shabaab.
